Age Group Information

We honor the individuality of every child’s growth and development and at the same time pace each class with knowledge of the broad range of interests inherent to children at varying ages.

                                                               2's                                                                             

The 2’s enjoy their loving caregiver alongside with them as they sing, move, march, learn interactive finger play songs, giggle, jump and dance.  We use easy to grasp instruments and puppets and include lots of multisensory activity! We support developing socialization skills with play that introduces a nurturing format. Ideally, there would be 4 children in a lesson, 2 minimum. I have had many requests from parents,
so call a friend and arrange your date together!

                                                      3’s and 4’s

Whether participating in a Parent/Child class or independently, 3’s and 4’s are full of energy! Fun, interactive story themes include song lyrics that have lots of movement and dance.  We imagine and pretend with instruments and puppets that add to our music role play. We embrace children’s ideas for new songs or ways to dance or play an instrument and add them throughout each class.

                                                       5’s and 6’s

The 5’s and 6’s discover a fun, emotional connection to music in our thematic, story like repertoires. Instruments and puppets become props for dramatic arts expression! We present lots of opportunities for creativity as children learn to sing new songs with fun lyrics, special movements, dance and imaginatively role play to act out the music.
